Job Description


-Responsible for the full sales cycle including negotiating terms, ensuring payment and coordinating service support.
-Develop account strategies using STAT process. Lead the process and the support team.
-Present information to management to determine account potential, including understanding any synergies with other products.
-Prepare sale strategies for accounts and compile information needed to prepare
proposals, such as identifying financial or safety benefits for customers, new applications for existing products, and positive performance history with company products. Communicate strategies to involved individuals and ensure that the strategy is followed.
-Find and target new accounts and projects within the region to grow company market share in accordance with Company's overall strategies and objectives.
-Achieve bookings and earnings (margin or EBIT) targets consistent with the Business Unit objectives for the year.
-Act as a liaison between the Project Team and the Customer, in order to communicate and clarify issues regarding the needs and expectations of the customer, as well as constraints
within the Engineering and Manufacturing processes.
-Work with the proposal team to communicate customer requirements and to proactively drive customer specifications towards standardization. Propose pricing based on
market data, and communicate information related to industry trends, competitors, and projected future business.
-Keep abreast of new products, specifications, industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses.
-Provide input and assistance to other functional areas, including Quality, Service, and Safety, in order to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels.
-Provide back-up service and assist with on call as required. Service support will take priority, if the need arises.

Main Tasks

-Manage the development of key customer accounts in China. He/She will be responsible for cultivating accounts into long term relationships, customer satisfaction, and developing new business opportunities.
-Analyze opportunities, identify decision makers and procurement processes, research customers, and develop company solutions.

Job Requirement -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent. MBA preferred.
-Minimum of 5 years experience with a specialized knowledge of pressure control equipment, customer requirements, and competitive market. Field Service experience preferred.
-Ability to relocate to China
-Ability to travel internationally
-Basic PC Skills
-Basic understanding of business financial processes and negotiation skills.
-Good working knowledge of company manufacturing processes and infrastructure.
-Knowledge of American Petroleum Industry (API), Industrial Standards Organization (ISO) Specifications, ASME and ANSI, and governmental standards in effect at managed country.
-Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing, and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
-Strategic thought process that looks for understanding of the customer and market
-Self-directed, goal oriented, and creative, to be able to identify and maximize opportunities.
-Ability to work with other cultures.
